It's always interesting to see where he pulls thoughts from various other media, from Lego as he does in predesign work, to referencing thoughts on inception and even video games.

If you haven't checked it out, Bjark's book Yes IS More is an interesting take on things, designed as a comic book, it brings you inside his firm and through many of BIG's projects

Interesting entry for a new religious and cultural complex. This would be interesting, given many of the religious centers we saw when in Istanbul were very traditional. This reminds me of something you might see within the sacred space juries at CUA.

"Floating Gardens" - The Aztecs once fed 200K people in inarguable swampy land by creating floating gardens they farmed extensively.

Chinampas, used by The Aztecs and other mesoamerican cultures. Artificial islands that have the potential to produce up to 7 rounds of crops per year.

Chinampa (Nahuatl: chināmitl [tʃiˈnaːmitɬ]) is a method of Mesoamerican agriculture which used small, rectangular areas of fertile arable land to grow crops on the shallow lake beds in the Valley of Mexico.
